About Les Marchands


Les Marchands is a European-inspired restaurant and retail wine shop led by a world-class team of certified sommeliers. Our seasonally inspired menu celebrates the finest wine producing regions in the world accompanied by an extensive wine list from some of the finest small producers throughout Europe and Santa Barbara county. A full bar of handcrafted artisan spirits complements Les Marchands’ extensive wine program with classic stirred cocktails made in the old-school traditional way.

Chef Weston Richards


Chef Weston Richards’ career in the culinary world began over sixteen years ago at Santa Barbara’s Sage & Onion. From there he quickly made his mark at the Wine Cask and its sister restaurant, Intermezzo, where he created dishes to complement their prestigious Wine Spectator’s Grand Award. Soon after, he founded the critically acclaimed Spare Parts, a locals’ pop-up favorite. In 2013, Chef Weston was integral in opening Les Marchands, an innovative restaurant and retail shop in the Funk Zone. Over the past four years, he has directed the menu that complements the wine, beer and cocktail programs.

Cassie Foster, General Manager


Cassie Foster joined the Loquita team as Assistant General Manager in 2018 and quickly became General Manager. In 2019, she transitioned to the Les Marchands team as their General Manager. Cassie feels Acme Hospitality provides the perfect platform to do what she loves and she feels that Acme has a genuine interest in developing and taking care of people while also honing leadership skills. When Cassie is not working, she is passionate about discovering unique food destinations, traveling the world while immersing herself in different cultures or reading her ever-expanding selection of books. She is currently learning a new language.
